Personal information:
I was born and raised in Denmark. My father is British and my mother is Finish. My name, Seija, is from Finland and is pronounced English “Say” and Danish “ja”. I have lived in Switzerland and Sweden, and speak Danish and English. I am married and have a son and a daughter, who were born in 1985 and 1989.

I have worked at Rigshospitalet Copenhagen, at the Pediatric Ward at Hillerød Hospital and been employed as a municipal doctor in Copenhagen.
I have worked as a consultant at the Children’s Growth Center in Copenhagen. I have visited Tibetan refugees in Nepal, a health clinic on Zanzibar and in China. Had an exchange visit with a children’s psychiatrist in San Francisco. Researched in collaboration with a Center in Davos, Switzerland and the Institute for Prevention of Diseases in Copenhagen. Since 2013 I have been a consultant for the children at the Royal Ballet School in Copenhagen.
I have years of experience and broad knowledge relating to children, their needs, development, behavior, symptoms and diseases. I have wide clinical experience with examination and treatment of children with various diseases. As a pediatrician, I appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration, education, communication, guidance and counseling of children, adolescents and their families.

The clinic’s staff:
The clinic has a team of medical student (Marcus, Agnes, Mads, Aleksander og Linnea), who answer the telephone Monday to Thursday between 9 and 12 a.m. They speak English. A professional firm takes care of the cleaning.
